形態特徵

• Slender left-twining (sinistrorse) vine, glabrous; stems and branches rounded, ca. 2 mm in diam., striate.
• Leaves alternate, petiole slender, 3-5 cm long, deeply canaliculate above, rounded and slightly striate beneath, lamina chartaceous or thin coriaceous when dry, triangular, ca. 10.5 cm long, 5.5 cm wide, apex long acuminate, base deeply cordate, margins subentire (often undulate); nerves 7, convergent toward apex, veinlets reticulate.
• Flowers not yet seen. Fruiting panicles simple, slender, with a bracteole at base, bracteole triangular, ca. 2 mm long, 1 mm wide, caudate at apex.
• Capsules obcordate, 1-1.5 cm long, 1-1.7 cm wide, margins slight winged; stalk short, ca. 2-3 mm long, with 1-3 minute bracteoles at base; seeds rounded, flattened, surrounded by a membranaceous wing, ca. 5 mm in diam. including the wing.

• 台灣 : In forests at ca. 1,900 m.
